Brimo, Di Castro, Kugel

October 14—30, 2015

Academy Mansion, 2 East 63rd Street, New York

In October 2015, Galerie Kugel joined forces with Brimo de Laroussilhe and Antichita’ Alessandra Di Castro for a three-week long pop up exhibition at a historic venue in Manhattan.

Set at the Academy Mansion on 63rd street, and presenting works ranging from Ancient Rome to the 19th century, this exhibition mixed together artworks from the three galleries with the aim of spreading enthusiasm and welcoming both aspiring and established collectors to discover the wonders of European art and the joys of cross collecting.

The exhibition met a great success with over 2000 visitors and an important press coverage. Numerous sales were made to both private collectors and museums, including the Frick Collection, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Houston Museum of Fine Art.
