Un Panorama de Paris et ses environs, tableaux-dessins 1680–1840 - Galerie Kugel

Galerie Kugel’s passion for Paris and its history led to an exhibition centered around a major discovery: the panorama of Paris taken from the Pavillon de Flore, painted by Pierre Prevost in 1808. This 360-degree view is the most accurate testimony of the French capital before the invention of photography. In total, 82 paintings and drawings of Paris and its surroundings have been brought together in this catalogue.

With a historical notice about the panorama (cat. nº25) by Bernard Comment. 82 items described and illustrated in colour.
